Role Description

The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with some flexibility for work from home. In this role, the Administrative Assistant will handle day-to-day office operations, including:

The role involves coordinating calendars, assisting with data entry, supporting internal communication, and ensuring that office procedures are followed efficiently. This position requires consistent attention to detail, timely completion of tasks, and professional interaction with colleagues, external partners, and members of the public.

Qualifications

  • Strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills, with experience supporting daily office operations and leadership teams.
  • Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication and professional handling of inquiries.
  • Proficiency in common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendaring systems) and comfort with learning new systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, demonstrating reliability, time management, and self-motivation both on-site and remotely.
  • Prior experience in public sector, community services, or a similar administrative role is beneficial.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or diploma in administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
