About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join the Care at Home Team in Caithness.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Care at Home Service, ensuring the efficient operation of a busy office environment and supporting the delivery of high-quality care to service users within their own homes.
This role is pivotal in supporting service coordination, maintaining accurate records, assisting with governance processes, and acting as a key point of contact for service users, carers, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Care at Home Team.
- Act as the first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in accordance with NHS Highland policies.
- Process referrals and manage incoming correspondence.
- Support scheduling and coordination of care services.
- Prepare, collate, and distribute documentation, reports, and meeting papers.
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Support the completion and recording of audits required for governance and Care Inspectorate compliance.
- Maintain filing systems and databases.
- Order office supplies and support general office administration.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times in line with Data Protection and NHS policies.
