Company Description
HDH Property Consultants is an independent, RICS-regulated surveying practice known for delivering expert and impartial property advice. Specialising in services such as damp and mould inspections, housing disrepair reports, defect diagnosis, and other surveys using advanced technologies. HDH Property Consultants consistently upholds integrity and technical excellence.
Role Description
We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive part-time Administrative Assistant to support a growing property consultancy. The role will involve providing day-to-day administrative support, managing emails and client updates, coordinating inspection bookings, maintaining internal records, assisting with social media content and helping to organise client events.
There is scope for the role, responsibilities and working hours to expand as the business continues to grow. Although this is primarily a home-based role, the ideal candidate will be based in London or the South East and be willing to attend occasional client events or business meetings where required.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Confidence using cloud-based systems and shared digital files.
- An understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing tasks.
- A professional and polite telephone and email manner.
- Previous administrative experience.
- The confidence to liaise with clients, venues, suppliers and other third parties.
- Experience in property or surveying administration would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Experience using customer relationship management and LinkedIn would also be desirable.

Working Arrangements
This is a working-from-home role for 10 hours per week. The hours can be agreed in advance and may be spread across the working week to meet the needs of the business. The successful candidate will require a reliable internet connection, access to a suitable home-working environment and the ability to remain available during agreed working hours.
Occasional attendance at client events or meetings in London and the South East may be required. Any such attendance would be agreed in advance. There is potential for the number of hours and level of responsibility to increase as the business grows.

Salary
Pay to be agreed depending on experience.
