Job Description
Administrative Assistant
Snyder & Company is seeking a professional, organized, and client-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact for both clients and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of administrative support experience in a professional office environment preferred; relevant education or training may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, with strong keyboarding and typing skills.
- Ability to learn and use additional software programs, office equipment, and technology required to perform administrative support functions.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete projects in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential documents and information with professionalism and discretion.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to follow business needs, policies, and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize when an issue should be escalated to a supervisor.
- Professional composure and flexibility when working under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced professional setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency using equipment, technology, software, and hardware necessary to perform job functions.
- Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude.
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to create, maintain, and strengthen client relationships.
- Punctual and available for scheduled work shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including greeting clients, answering phones, relaying messages, delivering customer service, editing and transcribing documents, entering data, and scheduling meetings and conference rooms.
- Communicate with clients professionally by phone, email, and other electronic channels.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, management, and team members.
- Respond to telephone calls and emails, and place service calls as needed.
- Coordinate meeting and office function logistics, including ordering food and arranging related details.
- Prioritize workflow to support timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Handle confidential company and client information, including credit card, banking, prospective client, and current client information, with discretion.
- Maintain appropriate logs and tracking systems for administrative support work.
- Communicate deadlines and project updates clearly with team members and clients.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate support when needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Use office equipment and supplies in a cost-conscious and efficient manner.
- Assembly of tax returns, both electronic and paper.
