Administration Assistant
Location: Enfield, North London
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time

Looking for a role where you're more than just a number? We're looking for a friendly, organised, and motivated Administration Assistant to join our growing team at The Car Key People.

About The Car Key People
We're a nationwide auto locksmith company based in Enfield, North London, working with some of the UK's biggest fleet operators.
We provide replacement vehicle keys and help our clients keep their vehicles on the road and minimise downtime.
We're a growing business operating in a specialist and interesting industry, and our office team is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
This isn't your typical admin job where every day is the same. You'll be part of our busy operations team, helping to coordinate bookings, manage technician schedules and communicate with clients and technicians across the UK.
You'll need to be able to think on your feet, stay calm when things get busy and take pride in getting things right.
You'll work closely with our 3 Bookings Co-Ordinators and Operations Director, giving you the opportunity to learn about different areas of the business and develop your skills as the company continues to grow.

Your day-to-day will include:
- Taking and creating new bookings
- Managing technician schedules and resolving diary conflicts
- Liaising with technicians, clients, and members of the public
- Making sure bookings are dealt with quickly and efficiently
- General office administration and enquiries
- Data entry and maintaining spreadsheets
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Printing, scanning, photocopying, and filing
- Helping to improve and maintain office procedures
- Working closely with the wider team to keep the operation running smoothly
The Person We're Looking For
We don't just want someone who can tick boxes on an admin checklist.
We're looking for someone who is switched-on, reliable, and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team.
You might already have experience in administration, customer service, scheduling, or a similar office-based role. What's most important is that you're organised, confident communicating with people and willing to learn.
You'll be someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is highly organised and knows how to prioritise
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Can remain calm and focused when things get busy
- Is comfortable making decisions
- Has excellent time management skills
- Is reliable, punctual, and professional
- Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with others
- Has a positive attitude and is happy to get stuck in
- Is confident using computers and spreadsheets
- Takes pride in their work and wants to do a great job
