The Role
As a Legal Support Assistant, you will provide administrative, file management and client support services to fee earners and the wider legal support team. Working closely with Practice Assistants, Legal Support Assistants and Business Development teams, you will ensure matters are managed efficiently, client information is maintained accurately and administrative processes are delivered to a high standard. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop legal support expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced professional services environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
Administration & File Management
- Previous office-based administrative experience.
- Experience working with document management or case management systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience maintaining accurate records, filing systems and document control processes.
Client & Stakeholder Support
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to support client onboarding, engagement documentation and business development activities.
- Confidence liaising with fee earners, support teams and clients while managing competing requests.
Organisation & Personal Effectiveness
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and manage workload proactively.
- Positive, flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism and a willingness to learn and develop.

Technical Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using document management, case management and workflow systems.
- Ability to manage electronic filing, archiving and document production processes.
- Confidence handling data accurately and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
