Full-time | Bristol / Hybrid/Remote | Salary: £25,000
1stPsych Medico-Legal is looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, adapting to changing priorities and helping a busy professional service run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Opening, updating and progressing medico-legal case files
- Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors, medical experts and other third parties
- Arranging appointments, assessments and medical examinations
- Managing emails, telephone enquiries and correspondence
- Preparing documents, reports and case-related paperwork
- Sending confidential documents securely
- Managing the diaries of designated consultants
- Coordinating joint statement discussions, monitoring progress and following up with the relevant parties
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring tasks are completed promptly, supporting cases through key stages
- Updating internal systems and databases
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook) and computer-based systems
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong telephone manner
- Able to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines
- Professional, reliable and approachable
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Respectful of confidentiality and able to handle sensitive information appropriately
- Flexible and proactive, with a willingness to learn

Previous administrative experience is desirable; experience within a legal, healthcare or medico-legal environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
