DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

On behalf of NRS, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant (Inside IR35) for a 12-month contract based onsite in the Trawsfynydd Site, North Wales. Office attendance is full-time, 4 days a week onsite.

Role Profile

To support the Engineering team at the Trawsfynydd Site in North Wales.

This role will provide essential administrative, document control, records management and office support services to engineers and quality assurance personnel. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, managing documentation and ensuring information is correctly catalogued and archived.

As an Administrative Assistant, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Scan, catalogue and archive engineering and quality documentation.
  • Create, update and manage spreadsheets and document registers.
  • Ensure metadata and records are accurately entered and maintained.
  • Support document storage, retrieval and disposal activities.
  • Assist with records management and information archiving processes.
  • Prepare, organise and distribute documentation when required.
  • Provide cover for the Administration Clerk during periods of absence.
  • Liaise with engineers, stakeholders and other departments to support day-to-day administrative activities.
  • Support general office administration and team coordination activities.

Essential

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong document management, record keeping or filing experience.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience maintaining spreadsheets, databases or document registers.
  • Reliable and able to commit to full onsite attendance.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting engineering, technical, manufacturing, nuclear, construction or regulated environments.
  • Previous document control experience.
  • Experience maintaining records management systems.
  • Experience scanning, indexing and archiving large volumes of documentation.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance documentation processes.
