Role Description
The Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper will provide day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping support in an on-site role based in Filleigh. This part-time position includes:
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing invoices and payments
- Assisting with payroll preparation
- Posting journal entries into accounting software
- Organising client files
- Managing correspondence
- Scheduling appointments
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and basic reports
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure timely, accurate data entry and responsive client service.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Previous experience in an accountancy, bookkeeping, or office administration environment is beneficial but not essential as training can be given.
- A relevant qualification or training in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Filleigh and manage part-time hours reliably and punctually.
