Citizens Advice 1066 is looking for an organised, friendly and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the delivery of our advice services across Hastings, Rother and East Sussex. As one of the first points of contact for clients, visitors and partner organisations, you'll play a vital role in helping people access the support they need.

About the role:

You'll provide essential administrative support across a range of services, helping to ensure the smooth running of our offices, advice channels and client processes. From managing records and referrals to supporting meetings and welcoming visitors, no two days are likely to be the same.

What you'll be doing:

  • Welcoming clients and visitors and supporting reception services.
  • Responding to enquiries by telephone, email, web forms and other communication channels.
  • Processing referrals and supporting clients through their journey with our services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Producing reports and helping manage service information.
  • Providing administrative support to managers and advice teams.
  • Supporting meetings, events, procurement and office administration.

  • Has significant administration experience.
  • Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Is confident using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Understands the importance of GDPR, confidentiality and data protection.
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Works well as part of a diverse team.
  • Can work accurately under pressure and manage competing priorities.
