Administrative Assistant – St Andrews

St Andrews Executive Travel Ltd is one of Scotland’s leading golf transport specialists. Established in 1992 and based just minutes from the Old Course, we provide executive transport for golf tours and private hires throughout Scotland and across the UK.

We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our busy office team in St Andrews.

The Role

This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day running of the business. Duties will include:

  • Answering phone calls and emails
  • Assisting with bookings and scheduling
  • Data entry and maintaining records
  • Preparing documents and general office administration
  • Liaising with drivers, clients and suppliers
  • Supporting the management and operations team
  • Helping deal with day-to-day queries and changing priorities

Our office can be fast-paced, particularly during the golf season, so we’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to keep a cool head when things get busy.

  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication and telephone skills
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, practical attitude

Experience in transport, travel, hospitality or customer service would be useful but isn’t essential.
