A leading law firm is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operation of its London office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional services environment where no two days are the same and where you will play a key role in delivering an excellent workplace experience for employees and visitors.

The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential support across office operations, administration, supplier coordination, and internal service delivery. Working closely with colleagues and external providers, you will help ensure the office runs efficiently and that employees receive a high standard of support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to helpdesk enquiries via email, telephone, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain records, spreadsheets, logs, and administrative systems.
  • Order office supplies, stationery, and equipment.
  • Support new joiner and leaver processes.
  • Create purchase orders, process invoices, and manage expense administration.
  • Assist with internal communications and office updates.
  • Conduct regular office checks to ensure facilities areas remain clean, stocked, and presentable.
  • Support health and safety procedures and workplace compliance requirements.
  • Assist with office projects, events, and wider business initiatives.

About You

  • Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Team Assistant, or similar support role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working within a professional services environment is advantageous.
