Job Description

Location: Brett Martin Ltd, 24 Roughfort Road

Join Brett Martin, a globally recognised leader in plastic and building product manufacturing, as an Administrative Assistant (Maternity Cover) at our Headquarters in Northern Ireland. We are seeking a proactive and organised individual for an exciting fixed-term opportunity within our Finance team.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will provide essential, confidential, and professional administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a range of business activities. From purchase ledger administration and travel coordination to office support and customer service, this is a varied role offering exposure across multiple departments.

This role offers flexible working hours, with reduced or part-time hours considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and support purchase ledger activities
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and courier bookings
  • Provide switchboard cover and administrative support across departments
  • Coordinate hospitality requirements for meetings and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and reports
  • Support purchasing activities and general office administration

What We're Looking For

  • Previous administration experience in a busy office environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional, approachable, and able to manage multiple priorities

Required Criteria

  • At least 1 year’s administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  • Experience handling telephone and/or switchboard enquiries.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Criteria

  • Experience arranging travel, accommodation, and courier bookings.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or fast-paced business environment.
