Sourcing Admin Assistant

FTC 3-6 Months

Somerset/Hybrid

We're looking for a Temporary Sourcing Admin Assistant to join a busy sourcing team on a fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working with data, Excel, and business systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring sourcing, purchasing, stock, and supplier processes run smoothly across raw materials, finished goods, packaging, and costing activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting purchasing and sourcing administration across multiple product areas
  • Raising GRNs and purchase orders
  • Updating supplier due dates and maintaining system data
  • Monitoring stock levels and supporting inventory management activities
  • Maintaining freight trackers and supplier records
  • Updating costs and supporting costing administration
  • Producing reports and analysing exchange rate and commodity price data
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure information is accurate and up to date

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an administrative, sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or operations support role
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, or other business systems
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
