Role Description

This full-time, on-site Administrative Assistant/Payroll role is based in the West Midlands. The position involves managing day-to-day office administration, including:

The Administrative Assistant/Payroll team member will:

  • Answer phone calls
  • Direct inquiries
  • Schedule appointments
  • Support general office operations to maintain a professional and efficient workplace

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage office tasks, records, and documentation effectively.
  • Candidates should demonstrate excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to interact professionally with staff, clients, and partners.
  • Candidates should have experience or aptitude in Executive Administrative Assistance to support leadership with scheduling, correspondence, and confidential information.
  • Candidates should have basic knowledge of Sage 50 payroll processes, data entry, and accuracy in handling numerical information.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and the ability to learn new systems as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in the West Midlands and collaborate effectively as part of an office-based team.
  • Previous experience in administrative or payroll support and a relevant certificate or qualification in business administration or a related field is beneficial.
