This is a fully on-site role based in our Erith office — we're not able to offer remote or hybrid working for this position.

About The GOT

At The Golden Oak Tree (The GOT), we're more than just Mortgage & Protection Advisers — we're trusted partners guiding our clients through one of life's biggest milestones: home ownership. As a whole-of-market advice firm, we deliver clear, tailored mortgage and insurance solutions both in-person and remotely, always putting our clients first to make the process smooth and stress-free.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to become the backbone of our day-to-day operations. In this role, you won't just handle paperwork — you'll help our advisers stay organised, ensure client queries are handled promptly, and play an active part in creating a professional, welcoming atmosphere for every client interaction.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a client-focused environment, has a keen eye for detail, and wants to grow their career in the financial services industry. If you have previous experience in financial services — great! If not, but you're eager to learn and open to pursuing CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) in the future, we'd still love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails — handle enquiries with professionalism and warmth.
  • Schedule client meetings and prepare appointment packs in advance.
  • Support advisers by drafting correspondence, gathering client information, and following up on outstanding documents.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure data is up to date in our CRM system.
  • Prepare reports, letters, and policy documents as required.
  • Assist with compliance checks and file management to meet industry standards.
  • Help organise team meetings, training sessions, and internal communications.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office by proactively managing supplies, facilities, and administrative processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
