Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for 18 months due to improvement in service delivery.
Secondment Opportunity
- Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview.
- The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager.
- The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate Portfolio Management Office (CPMO) Team and work with the Programme Manager to support delivery of the Value Based Health and Care Programme. The CPMO support a diverse range of programmes and projects across NHS Forth Valley to deliver key organisational and strategic priorities, with a particular focus on approaches that increase both the value and quality of services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated person who will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative support services to the Value Based Health and Care Programme team.
Challenges include:
- Managing a varied and diverse workload
- Ensuring the provision of a high quality, comprehensive and timely administration support function
The post holder will have the opportunity to access appropriate training, dependent on their individual requirements.
Qualifications:
- Higher National Certificate in a relevant subject or relevant experience in office administration, gained in a busy office.
- Proficiency in the use of standard office software packages.
- Experience of working at pace in a complex and dynamic environment.

Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work well with others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-developed organisational ability.
- Previous experience in providing administration support in a project environment is desirable.
Requirements:
- Achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
- Comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
- Complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
Travel:
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

Agenda for Change Full-time Working Week:
- As from 1/4/26, the full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week.
- Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata.
- However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

Skills
