About The Team
Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Administrative & Business Support Officer (f/m/d). Do you want to revolutionize space travel in New Space? Then you've come to the right place.
Your Tasks
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and local logistics for employees, contractors, customers, and visitors travelling to and from the launch site.
- Support the day-to-day administration and business operations of the site, ensuring a smooth and professional working environment.
- Act as a key point of contact for employees, visitors, suppliers, and service providers, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
- Support procurement, inventory management, incoming goods, and relationships with local vendors and business partners.
- Maintain accurate employee records, qualifications, and business documentation in compliance with UK GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Organise onboarding activities, training sessions, meetings, and site inductions for staff and visitors.
- Provide administrative support to site leadership, including preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, purchase orders, invoices, and other business documentation.

Your Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in administration, office management, operations support, or a similar business support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience coordinating travel, accommodation, schedules, or logistics in a professional environment.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively in a remote or site-based environment.
- High level of accuracy and discretion when handling confidential information and personal data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid UK driving licence.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience supporting industrial, engineering, construction, aerospace, or operational site environments.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, invoice handling, or supplier management.
- Familiarity with UK GDPR and data protection requirements.
- German language skills.
- Knowledge of local suppliers, businesses, or services within the Shetland Islands.
