Talent Guardian are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food business for an organised and detail-focused Administration Coordinator to join their Artwork team at their Wednesbury site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration and coordination skills who enjoys keeping processes organised, managing documentation and working across multiple teams.

Role Overview

Working closely with the Artwork, NPD, Technical, Sales, and Commercial teams, as well as external suppliers and design houses, you'll provide essential administrative support to help packaging and artwork projects move smoothly from initial brief through to final print.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Artwork team, helping to keep projects, documentation, and deadlines on track.
  • Coordinate artwork and packaging information between internal teams, customers, suppliers, and external design houses.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation throughout the artwork and NPD process.
  • Keep project information up to date and provide regular progress updates via meetings, email, and Teams.
  • Support with proofreading and checking packaging artwork for accuracy, including barcodes, product information, and general details.
  • Request, record, and methodically check barcodes for new packaging and artwork.
  • Carry out barcode checks on new packaging to ensure products scan correctly.
  • Liaise with printers and suppliers to coordinate information, samples, and documentation.
  • Check packaging samples against approved files and flag any discrepancies to the relevant team.
  • Maintain an organised and up-to-date image and artwork library.
  • Work alongside Marketing to ensure imagery and product information are kept current on Brandbank.
  • Support the wider team with general administration, data entry, document control, and ad hoc tasks when required.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, methodical, and confident managing a busy administrative workload.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience within an administration, coordination, or project support role.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with documentation, spreadsheets, trackers, and databases.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using SAP or Access would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience within food manufacturing, packaging, artwork, or FMCG would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
  • An interest in packaging and artwork processes, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and terminology.
