We're looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Officer to join our team. Working closely with the Headteacher and wider school team, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school, helping to ensure our systems, communication and operational processes are effective, compliant and child-centred.

What you'll be doing
As our Administrative Officer, you'll be at the centre of school life, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From managing attendance and safeguarding administration to coordinating communications, compliance and key school systems, you'll play an important role in creating an environment where staff and pupils can thrive.
You Will
- Lead and coordinate the school's administrative functions.
- Monitor and manage attendance processes and reporting.
- Act as the school's Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC).
- Support safeguarding administration, including CPOMS management and supply staff compliance checks.
- Coordinate purchasing and maintenance requirements.
- Support SB2 and wider compliance processes.
- Maintain school policies and administrative records.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of school systems, including Compass and CPOMS.
- Coordinate the school calendar and key events.
- Manage communications with parents and carers.
- Maintain content on the school website.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and briefing notes.
- Produce and maintain organisational records, documentation and contact information.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and takes pride in getting the details right. You'll be confident managing competing priorities, building strong relationships and keeping things running efficiently in a busy school environment. You'll have:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital management systems.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- An understanding of safeguarding within an educational setting.
- A flexible, positive and solution-focused approach.
- A genuine commitment to supporting children and young people to achieve their potential.
