Job Opportunity: Administrative Officer at Leri Cancer Unit
Leri Cancer Unit is looking to recruit an administrative officer to provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Chemotherapy (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy – SACT) Unit, Oncology, and Haematology clinics, ensuring the smooth coordination of patient pathways, clinics, and treatment schedules, while maintaining accurate records and supporting the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide a welcoming and polite reception to patients, relatives, and carers from the main reception desk of Leri Cancer Unit.
- Leri Cancer Unit comprises a treatment area delivering chemotherapy and Systemic anti-cancer therapies and an outpatient clinic area.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the chemotherapy unit and outpatient clinics as described in the detailed job description.
Requirements
- Motivated candidate with excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in an administrative role would be welcomed, however, full training will be provided.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
