Job Title: Project Administrative Support Specialist (Temporary)

Location: Slough (100% On-site)

Pay Rate: £22.00 – £25.00 per hour

Contract Length: 3 Months

Employment Type: Temporary / Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Project Administrative Support Specialist for an immediate 3-month temporary contract at our Slough office. This role is vital to our administrative operations, focusing specifically on the accurate and timely execution of asset capitalization and retirement forms. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator capable of liaising with cross-functional teams, gathering technical information, and ensuring full process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Learning: Quickly master and adhere to internal administrative processes surrounding asset capitalization and retirement.
  • Form Management: Accurately complete and process capitalization/retirement documentation, ensuring strict compliance with deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Proactively engage with project engineers, MGS associates, and key stakeholders to gather necessary data, technical details, and project guidance.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, regular updates to the hiring manager and swiftly escalate any hurdles, risks, or process delays.
  • Record Keeping: Establish and maintain a systematic, audited filing system for all capitalization documents and related communications.

Required:

  • Experience: Proven track record in an administrative or project support role, ideally with exposure to financial admin, asset management, or capitalization processes.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with engineers and department heads.
  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy when handling technical data and official documentation.
  • Technical Aptitude: A general understanding of engineering/technical terminology.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced/intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Time Management: Ability to self-manage, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines independently.
