Administrative Support

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to support the delivery of apprenticeship programmes within Pearson TQ.
In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure learners are onboarded, tracked, and supported throughout their journey. You’ll work closely with internal teams to maintain accurate records, support compliance requirements, and ensure a smooth and positive learner experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in delivering high-quality learning support.
Location & Work Setup
This role is based at Gibraltar Barracks, Minley Road, Camberley, Surrey (GU17 9LP) and involves regular travel between sites to support operational delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities
Learner Administration & Compliance
- Support the preparation and processing of documentation for funded learners (IDev / ESFA).
- Maintain accurate learner records across systems such as One File and Edexcel.
- Process registrations, reviews, achievements, and leaver documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure all learner files (electronic and paper-based) are accurate and up to date.
- Support apprenticeship certification processes, including issuing certificates and related communication.

Learner Support & Operations
- Assist with or deliver learner inductions where required.
- Support Functional Skills administration and related activities.
- Provide administrative support to coordinators and wider teams.
- Assist with auditing and compliance activities.
General Administration
- Manage incoming calls, post, and general enquiries, directing them appropriately.
- Take meeting minutes and support team meetings as required.
- Monitor and manage stationery supplies and process orders.
- Support archiving and record management activities.
Team & Operational Support
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support delivery.
- Contribute to team meetings and share good practice.
- Support the implementation of operational improvements and process changes.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous administrative experience in a busy environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- Confidence to support or deliver learner inductions.
- Ability to travel regularly between sites as part of the role; a full UK driving license is required due to the nature of this position.
