Full Time – 36 Hours

Priory Supported Living - Whitby and Scarborough has an opportunity for an Administrator to join our team. This is a hybrid role, split between remote and office-based with flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the business.

Priory Supported Living Whitby and Scarborough provide supported living services for people with a variety of support needs, conditions, and presentations. This includes people who are autistic, have a learning disability, or mental health needs. Our specialist support enables people to live happy and fulfilling lives in their own homes within their community.

What you'll be doing

Priory Supported Living Whitby and Scarborough is looking for an organised, proactive, and reliable Administrator to provide effective administrative support across our supported living services.

This is a key operational role, supporting the management team to ensure essential business processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timescales. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis, combining remote working with office-based duties as required by the business.

  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of the supported living service.
  • Assisting with the management and maintenance of staff rotas.
  • Supporting payroll processes, including checking hours, amendments, and relevant payroll information.
  • Using payroll and workforce management systems accurately.
  • Supporting the monitoring of staffing information, absences, and annual leave.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based records.
  • Supporting managers with reports, spreadsheets, data collection, and general administrative tasks.
  • Managing emails, correspondence, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and compliance administration where required.
  • Ensuring documentation is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR and organisational policies.
  • Providing general administrative support to contribute to the smooth and effective running of the service.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
  • A strong communicator with effective interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently when remote, while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
  • Flexible, proactive, and willing to support the changing needs of the business.
  • Previous experience in administration, payroll systems, and rota management is preferred but not essential.
  • Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Experience within health and social care or supported living would be advantageous but is not essential.
