The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join a busy Investment Operations team based in Glasgow on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional with Corporate Actions or Income processing experience to join a fast-paced financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, maintaining robust operational controls, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Operations
- Deliver a high standard of service to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities are completed in line with agreed service levels and operational procedures.
- Process Corporate Actions and Income events accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring a "right first time" approach.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, custodians, brokers, and internal teams.
- Support operational activities while ensuring service excellence is maintained.

Risk & Controls
- Adhere to risk and control frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate operational risks where appropriate.
- Support business continuity and contingency plans.
- Assist with audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure robust controls are followed to minimise operational risk.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute ideas to enhance operational processes and efficiencies.
- Support change initiatives, system improvements, and new business requirements.
- Assist with the implementation of regulatory and market-driven changes.
- Challenge existing processes constructively to drive innovation and improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Build effective relationships with internal teams, including Operations, Fund Accounting, Reconciliations, and Change functions.
- Liaise professionally with external stakeholders, including clients, custodians, brokers, and third-party providers.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in Corporate Actions and/or Income Processing within Financial Services.
- Good understanding of financial markets and investment operations.
- Strong awareness of operational risk and control environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Client-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience using specialist investment operations systems.
- Additional language skills.
- Degree educated or equivalent qualification.
