Role Title: Administrator - HS2
Location: HS2, Aylesbury
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role:
We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join Blackwell Earthmoving's HS2 project team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day administration of the project office, ensuring information and documentation are accurately prepared, organised, maintained, and distributed across a busy construction environment. You will be responsible for scanning, processing, filing, and managing project documentation within Microsoft Teams and company systems, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
Working closely with Operations, Commercial, and wider project teams, you will manage large volumes of incoming documentation, respond to telephone and email enquiries, and provide general administrative support to managers and colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping project information well-managed, accessible, and up to date.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing, organising, and maintaining information in both digital and paper formats.
- Scanning and processing site documentation from all project sections.
- Filing and managing project documentation within Microsoft Teams and company systems.
- Printing, photocopying, and distributing project-related documents as required.
- Supporting the day-to-day administration of the HS2 project office.
- Liaising with internal departments including Operations, Commercial, and project teams.
- Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Managing large volumes of incoming documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting managers and colleagues with general administrative tasks and project requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, office environment, or similar support position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with a willingness to support changing business needs.
- Confidence in handling and organising large volumes of documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams for document management would be advantageous.
