Contract Operations Administrator – 6 Month Contract (Inside IR35) – Glasgow
A leading global investment bank is seeking a Contract Operations Administrator to join its CIB Legal team on an initial 6-month contract basis (Inside IR35). Based in Glasgow with 50% office presence required.
This role provides vital administrative support to the Derivatives Legal team, managing contract data within the firm's internal master agreements and netting repository system, and supporting the execution process for new master agreements and amendments.
Key responsibilities:
- Contract data entry and maintenance in the repository system following execution of master agreements and amendments
- Tagging/un-tagging of internal reference codes linked to master agreements (e.g. for funds and technical accounts)
- Data quality controls, including 4-eyes checks and periodic control sample testing
- Handling queries on contract data from Legal and other stakeholders
- Supporting system IT development, user testing and feedback
- Administering execution of new agreements and amendments, including signature application
- Contract archiving (including hard-copy "wet ink" documentation)
- Supporting management reporting and MI packs for Legal
- Providing cover/backup for other team administrators

Essential skills & experience:
- Strong administrative, organisational and time-management skills
- Previous experience working with contracts or contract data (advantageous)
- Advanced MS Office literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); VBA/automation and SharePoint experience a plus
- High attention to detail and strong quality focus
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a collaborative, proactive approach
- Good risk awareness and sound judgement
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities
