We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Administrator to join our Private Pay Services team, supporting both self-pay and NHS patients through their diagnostic imaging journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy healthcare environment where you'll play an important role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. Working closely with clinical and administrative colleagues, you'll help ensure referrals, appointments, reports and patient communications are managed efficiently and professionally.
This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week across 4 days. Candidates must be available to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with flexibility on the fourth working day.
What you'll be doing
As Our Administrator, You Will Be
- Processing incoming referrals and ensuring all clinical and demographic information is accurate and complete.
- Managing and distributing diagnostic reports to referring clinicians and patients.
- Supporting the sharing of images and reports with NHS and private healthcare providers.
- Responding to patient, clinician and customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Supporting appointment scheduling, reception cover and data entry activities when required.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth patient pathways and excellent service delivery.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism and care.
- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting new colleagues where appropriate.

What we'll look for in you
With your previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a healthcare setting, you will also have:
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping patients
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a busy office, customer service or telephone-based environment
- Good IT skills, including data input and administration systems
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- A calm, professional approach with the ability to work accurately under pressure

What you can expect in return
- A full-time equivalent salary of £24,804 per annum
