The Extracare Charitable Trust is Recruiting for an Administrator

The Extracare Charitable Trust are recruiting for an Administrator on a permanent contract to join our supportive team, based at our Stoke Gifford Retirement Village in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our friendly team at our Stoke Gifford location and support the village’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “better lives for older people”. We provide a domiciliary care service all under one roof. No more travelling!

Extracare does not participate in the current “UK Visa Sponsorship” scheme, and we would not be able to facilitate sponsorship.

Role: Administrator

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £28,970pa
  • Location: Stoke Gifford Retirement Village, Edward Parker Road, Bristol, BS16 1YG

As an Administrator you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Manage training for the Village staff teams
  • Oversee the Village interest group accounts
  • Raise and process payment of invoices
  • Provide administration for the employment cycle of the staff team including right to work checks, DBS checks, and processing new starter and leaver forms
  • General admin and support to the Village Manager and Lifestyle Manager
  • Cover for reception

Person Specification

  • Bookkeeping Experience (invoices, banking, petty cash)
  • Strong Administration experience
  • Handling sensitive information appropriately
  • Excellent Written & Verbal communication skills
  • Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
  • Passionate about delivering a quality care service
