Role: Remembrance Events Administrator

Location: London Bridge, hybrid 2 days
Contract Type: Fixed Term until November 2027
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £29,202 to £29,582 per annum

This is an exciting time to join the Remembrance Events team, with the Festival of Remembrance just around the corner and a busy programme of commemorative events ahead. As Remembrance Events Administrator, you’ll be right at the heart of the team, providing the organisation and coordination that keeps large scale events running smoothly. From managing event information and accreditation to arranging travel, preparing correspondence and keeping on top of busy inboxes, you’ll have a varied role where there is always something happening.

Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being the person who keeps things moving. You’ll need to be organised, confident dealing with people and comfortable managing several priorities at once, often working to tight deadlines without losing sight of the detail. You’ll be dealing with public enquiries, supporting event accreditation, liaising with colleagues across The Royal British Legion and working with the contact centre, so being approachable, responsive and able to communicate clearly is just as important as being confident with systems, data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
