We are a well-established and friendly accountancy practice located in the town centre and are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with strong communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy office environment and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Scheduling appointments and managing staff diaries
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining client records and filing systems
  • Assisting with correspondence, document preparation and data entry
  • Managing meeting room bookings and reception areas
  • Providing general administrative support to the accountancy team
  • Other ad hoc office duties as required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous reception or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude
