Role Description

The Administrator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Moulton Park, Northampton. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day office operations, including:

  • Answering calls and emails
  • Scheduling surveys
  • Maintaining customer records and service logs

The Administrator supports the service team by:

  • Preparing job documentation
  • Coordinating engineer schedules
  • Ensuring that invoices and quotations are accurately created and recorded

Daily tasks also include:

  • Data entry
  • File organisation (digital and paper)
  • Updating internal systems
  • Liaising with customers, sub-contractors, and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative skills, including data entry, document management, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g. email, spreadsheets, word processing) and ability to learn company-specific systems.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities, including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in scheduling, billing, and documentation.
  • Previous experience in an office or service-based environment is beneficial; experience in heating, plumbing, or construction sectors is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Northampton, collaborate with a team, and maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills; formal qualifications in administration, business, or a related field are a plus but not essential.
