SRA Administrator / Archivist
Location: Lingfield Point, Darlington, DL1 1AX
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary assignment with strong potential for long-term opportunities
Working Pattern: Office-based role with the potential to move to a compressed 4-day working week following successful completion of training
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented SRA Administrator / Archivist to join a busy records management team based at Lingfield Point, Darlington. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong administrative and data entry skills to work with legal files and documents in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and analyse files and documents recovered from solicitors' offices.
- Determine the ownership and classification of files and legal documents.
- Accurately enter and maintain records on a live database.
- Barcode individual files and documents in line with established processes.
- Sort, scan, pack, and prepare files for secure storage.
- Carry out quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Process high volumes of documentation while meeting quality and productivity targets.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support operational objectives.
- Undertake additional administrative duties in line with business requirements.

- Strong IT literacy and data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyse, process, and organise large volumes of information.

- Willingness to undertake light manual handling duties when required.
