Berkshire Healthcare Administrator Opportunity
Berkshire Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based at West Berkshire Community Hospital on a one year Fixed Term Contract (Secondments can be considered). Part time: 30 Hours
If you thrive on variety and the opportunity to work with multiple people, this is a role you should consider as you may need to travel to other sites when the need arises; you will receive generous mileage allowance to facilitate this element of the role. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, who are pro-active in ensuring a high standard of service within MSK Physio across Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Patient Referrals and Appointments: Utilizing phone and email communication whilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for our patients.
- Primary Point of Contact: For MSK patients and visitors attending the department.
- Digital Referral Management and Patient Bookings: Taking responsibility for these tasks.
- Specific Admin Tasks: Including management of phonelines and email, with patient focus at the forefront of our role.
- Liaising with Other Departments: To support and assist patients as needed, such as interpreting services.
- Collecting Data and Statistics: To assist management in guiding the service direction.
- Flexible Working: In response to the needs of the patients, service and Physiotherapists.
- Supporting Colleagues: To deliver a high quality, effective and compassionate service both virtually and in person.
