Job Title: Administrator

Base Location: Fareham

Salary: Circa £25,000/annum depending on skills and experience, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Fixed Term Contract (12-months) Full Time, Monday to Friday.

The position is office-based during the initial training period, with flexible hybrid working (1-2 days per week from home) available once training is complete.


Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland and through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter, greener, and more efficient which benefits us all.

What will I be doing in this role?

In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting the successful delivery of our LED Replacement Project. As an Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of the team - providing essential administrative support to our Project Managers and on-site delivery teams to help ensure everything runs smoothly and on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate project records
  • Managing data entry
  • Handling incoming queries
  • Assisting with scheduling tasks

You’ll also help to ensure that key timelines, processes, and reporting requirements are met, contributing directly to the efficiency of the wider team.

A typical day might include:

  • Creating and issuing work packs for street lighting projects
  • Raising purchase orders and processing supplier invoices
  • Inputting and updating data across various internal systems to ensure records are accurate and compliant
  • Producing performance and progress reports to support the Project Management Team
  • Liaising with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of project activities

What do I need to be successful in the role?

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring previous administrative experience and a proactive, organised approach to your work. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple tasks at once, keeping on top of deadlines, and supporting others to do the same.

You’ll also have:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (including Excel), with the ability to quickly learn new internal systems
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with colleagues, clients, and suppliers across different levels of the business
  • Confidence using multiple communication platforms such as telephone, email, Teams, etc.

Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are:

  • An understanding of the Highways Permit or Licence process for working on the highways
  • Previous experience supporting large or complex infrastructure or construction projects
