Outline of role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Take-Off Administrator to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Take-Off Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the take-off function by ensuring project information, quantities and documentation are accurately processed and maintained. Working closely with the Team Leader, estimators, project teams and suppliers, you will help ensure that take-offs are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

You will be responsible for maintaining project data, supporting the preparation and management of take-off information, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and helping to ensure the smooth delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.

This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive working relationships while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation, administration and management of take-off information for projects.
  • Monitor the progress of take-off activities and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain accurate records and project data on bespoke systems and databases.
  • Assist with the processing and validation of project quantities and documentation.
  • Support meetings and calls with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Work closely with estimating, commercial and operational teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Identify and escalate any discrepancies, data issues or project concerns.
  • Produce reports and provide administrative support for the Take-Off Team as required.

Knowledge And Experience Required

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong data input and administration experience.
  • Experience supporting a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
  • Previous administrative experience within a similar environment is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritise your own workload.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport both internally and externally.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads against changing requirements and deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
