Job Title: Administrator
Base Location: Slinfold RH13 0SZ (occasional Fareham visits for training are expected)
Salary: From £25k to 26k/annum depending on skills and experience plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Full Time, Permanent, 37hrs; Mon – Thurs 7.30am to 3.30pm, Fri 7.30am to 3pm
The position is office-based during the initial training period, with flexible hybrid working (1-2 days per week from home) available once training is complete.
Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million streetlights across the UK and through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter, greener and more efficient which benefits us all.

What will I be doing in this role?
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Administrator to support project delivery, operations, and team coordination.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate project records
- Managing data entry
- Handling incoming queries
- Assisting with scheduling tasks
- Helping to ensure that key timelines, processes, and reporting requirements are met
- Contributing directly to the efficiency of the wider team
In a typical day, you could expect to be:
- Creating and issuing work packs for streetlighting projects
- Logging faults and issues regarding streetlights from the public on a bespoke database
- Producing performance and progress reports to support the Project Management Team
- Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records
- Scheduling appointments and assisting with coordination of site teams and subcontractors
- Responding to emails and calls in a professional and timely manner
- Supporting the wider team with general office tasks and business support

What do I need to be successful in the role?
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring previous administrative experience and a proactive, organised approach to your work. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple tasks at once, keeping on top of deadlines, and supporting others to do the same.
You’ll also have:
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (including Excel), with the ability to quickly learn new internal systems
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with colleagues, clients, and suppliers across different levels of the business
- Confidence using multiple communication platforms such as telephone, email, Teams etc
- A proactive, team-focused attitude – someone who’s always happy to help!
Experience in a construction, engineering or highways-related environment would be a bonus, but it’s not essential – we’ll provide training and support to get you up to speed.
