As an Administrator at Specsavers, you’ll be organised and equipped to tackle a wide variety of tasks. This includes all aspects of hearcare administration such as triaging patients, answering calls and general queries, updating and filing records, managing appointments, banking, through to repairs to hearing aids, and other key operational duties. The aim is to provide a top-notch administrative service that supports the store’s overall success.

Our store

The Specsavers Redhill store is a vibrant and well-established optical and hearcare hub, located on Central Parade in the heart of the town. The team provides a comprehensive range of clinical services, including hearing tests, hearing aid advice, and ear-wax removal, delivered by qualified audiologists committed to offering the highest standard of ear-care expertise. The store also benefits from a dedicated Specsavers Hearcare Centre, offering specialist support for customers seeking hearing solutions and ongoing aftercare. The store is perfectly positioned just a 4-minute walk from Redhill Train Station, and easily accessible via local bus routes. For those travelling by car, the store sits close to several convenient parking options offering quick and practical access for both customers and colleagues. What we’re looking for?

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Administrator. These include:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable managing confidential information appropriately
  • A proactive, “can-do” approach to problem-solving
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
  • Good time-management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
