Role Overview

The jobholder provides a comprehensive administration service to Health Visitors and School Nurses, they will also be part of the overall admin support for Universal Children’s Service.

About Universal Children’s Services

Universal Children’s Services has a specific role in arranging the delivery of healthcare services to meet the needs of communities across Forth Valley. The department provides day to day administration to support services, ensuring the smooth running and effective management of resources within Universal Children’s Services and to ensure the highest possible delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administration service to Health Visitors and School Nurses
  • Part of the overall admin support for Universal Children’s Service
  • Duties include:
    • Minutes of meetings
    • Use of IT equipment including local and national systems to read, analyse and record patient/client information data entry
    • Entering and retrieving information via computerised systems
    • Liaising with other departments by telephone and face-to-face

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Approachable disposition
  • Experience working as part of a team
