About the Role

bk plus is looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our growing Chorley office. This is a varied role supporting the smooth running of the office, providing administrative support to the wider team and helping to coordinate all front of house activities.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their workload, use their initiative, and get things done with minimal supervision. Previous accountancy practice administration experience is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with strong administrative, organisational or customer service backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and supporting the administrative functions of the office.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure processes run efficiently.
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors.
  • Answering telephone calls and managing enquiries.
  • Arranging meeting rooms and refreshments.
  • Supporting Partners, Directors and Senior Managers with administrative projects.
  • Creating and issuing client invoices.
  • Managing client onboarding and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and databases.
  • Ordering office supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Handling post and general office administration.
  • Keeping up to date with internal systems and software.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Previous accountancy practice experience is not required. We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, a can do attitude and the ability to deliver high quality support in a busy professional environment.
