Are you an organised administrator with experience in onboarding, compliance or pre-employment screening?

We're looking for an Onboarding Compliance Administrator to join a busy team supporting one of the UK's largest Government accounts. This is a 6 month hybrid working role of 2 days in the office and 3 days at home, based in Telford.

In this role, you'll manage end-to-end onboarding activities, ensuring all compliance checks are completed accurately and on time. You'll work closely with candidates, hiring managers and recruitment agencies to deliver a seamless onboarding experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding cases from offer through to start date.
  • Process BPSS, DBS, right-to-work and pre-employment screening checks.
  • Review and validate onboarding documentation, including passports, visas and employment references.
  • Coordinate identity verification sessions and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate records across multiple systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Arrange IT accounts, equipment and system access for new starters.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders to keep onboarding on track.
  • Identify and resolve onboarding issues while meeting agreed service levels.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in onboarding, HR administration, recruitment, compliance, vetting or a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously.
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience processing BPSS, DBS, right-to-work or other pre-employment checks.
  • Experience working within a regulated or compliance-focused environment.
