Exciting Opportunity for an Administrator with Community Care Services Admin Team
The Community Care Services Admin Team within the Community Rehab Team (CRT) office is seeking an administrator.
Hours and Location
- Hours: 24.3 hours per week
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Primary Hours: 1000 to 1400
- Location: Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy
Role Overview
This role supports the Community Rehabilitation Teams (CRT), which aim to enhance the quality of care and outcomes for older adults by enabling them to remain independent in their own homes, homely settings, or communities.
The CRT provides a person-centred and integrated approach to hospital admission and discharge, intermediate care, and reablement. The service is designed to deliver seamless care through improved coordination and alignment of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Part of the Community Care Services administration team
- Supports clinical referrals to the CRT
- Acts as the first point of contact for the Fife-wide Single Point of Access (SPOA)
- Manages the complex referral process with a high level of accuracy

Qualifications and Skills
- Educated to Higher level, or hold an SVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification, or possess equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and familiarity with databases
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional public holiday cover on a rotational basis
- Ability to work across sites
- Positive attitude towards delivering high-quality customer service
- Effective team collaboration
Legal Requirements
- A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment
- Must have the right to work in the UK
