Job Description: Administrator

Position Overview

The Administrator at Lely Center Holsworthy plays a central role in supporting the efficient running of the office, helping to maintain organised processes and ensuring the delivery of outstanding service. This position calls for a proactive and organised individual with excellent communication skills. The Administrator will be responsible for a broad range of administrative duties, the coordination of day-to-day office activities, and providing support to both staff and management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Office Administration: Support the day-to-day running of office operations, including managing correspondence, maintaining the filing system, and monitoring office supplies.
  • Staff Administration: Assist with recruitment administration, onboarding arrangements, training records, staff schedules, and annual leave records.
  • Human Resources Administration: Provide administrative support for HR processes and act as a point of contact for routine HR queries within the office.
  • Financial Administration: Assist with processing employee expenses when required and liaise with the finance department as needed.
  • Health & Safety Administration: Support health and safety processes within the office, assist with safety checks, and help maintain relevant records in line with company procedures.
  • Facilities Administration: Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and cleaning arrangements for the office. Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as necessary, and support administration relating to security, alarms, and keyholders.
  • Meeting & Event Support: Organise meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and provide support for company events as required.
  • Fleet Administration: Assist with records and administration relating to the company fleet, helping to ensure vehicle information and maintenance records are kept up to date.
  • IT & Systems: Provide support for the office IT systems, liaise with IT support services, and help ensure the office technology is utilised effectively.
  • Communication: Disseminate company communications, keep noticeboards updated, and maintain the internal newsletter in collaboration with marketing.
  • Policy Administration: Help maintain office documentation and support staff awareness of company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain an organised, safe, and welcoming office environment at all times.
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within the required timeframes.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support to management and staff, helping to maintain a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Safeguard company assets and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Comply with all applicable legislation and company policies.
  • Provide regular administrative updates to management on office matters and any arising issues.

Reporting Line

The Administrator will report directly to the Managing Director at LC Holsworthy.

Hours

Full time or part time hours considered

Salary

Between £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
