Are you based in the Edinburgh area? Do you have a passion for working with people?

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Part-Time Administrator who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours – 20 hours per week between 7.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday (flexible)

Key Responsibilities

  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organize delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Get to know our product lines and services to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our values
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, both face to face and over the phone, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills and Experience

  • Computer literate and confident computer user, systems will be taught but knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
  • A confident communicator in person, over the phone or email
  • Experienced working in a customer facing, sales-office based or administration role
  • Flexible, able to have a hands-on approach to work; happy to work in various departments within a fast paced, busy branch
  • A great team player; ready to support colleagues and customers when needed
  • Ambitious, looking for progression and wants to make a career for themselves
