Your new company

A well-established organisation based in Inverness is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month contract. Working within a small and supportive office environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business while providing excellent administrative support across a variety of functions.

Your new role

This is a varied and busy administration position where no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing general office administration
  • Handling incoming telephone and email enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Providing support with document preparation, filing, data entry, and scheduling
  • Welcoming visitors to the office
  • Responding to customer and stakeholder queries
  • Assisting colleagues with a range of administrative tasks as required

Working closely with a small team, you will be an important point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure a professional and efficient service is delivered at all times. This role is fully office-based and would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is highly organised, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of administrative support.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
  • Confidence in communicating with a range of people, both face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A professional approach, keen attention to detail, and a positive, team-focused attitude

You must also be happy to work in the office every day, Monday to Friday, as this role does not offer hybrid working.
