Administration Coordinator

Wigan PCN

£13.50 - £14.50 per hour
Full time or minimum of 30 hours per week.

You do not need previous GP surgery or NHS experience we're looking for someone with strong analytical and administrative skills who is keen to learn.

You'll work closely with management team and four GP practices to help monitor performance, coordinate projects and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare across our network.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Clinical Director and Management Team with administration and project coordination.
  • Analysing performance data and identifying trends.
  • Creating reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and other systems.
  • Monitoring projects and providing regular updates to practices.
  • Supporting quality improvement initiatives across the PCN.
  • Working with practices to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Coordinating meetings, projects and service developments.
  • Supporting the rollout of new systems and technologies.
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to enquiries.
  • Helping deliver national and local healthcare targets.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with information and solving problems.

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with data, reports or spreadsheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Great organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in a GP surgery or the NHS is not essential. Candidates from backgrounds such as administration, business support, operations, finance, project coordination, data analysis or similar roles are encouraged to apply.
