About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a busy service that makes a real difference to people’s lives. You will be asked to provide a comprehensive administrative service to an excellent standard, ensuring a high level of accuracy within the Halton Community Learning Disability Team. The post holder is expected to work with the minimum of supervision to coordinate their activities to ensure that an efficient service is provided. The post holder will be expected to work with a flexible approach, always maintaining confidentiality, when dealing with service user/staff information. The post holder should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The post holder will be able to demonstrate flexibility and use their own initiative to carry out duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organization, thus enabling the clinical team to utilize their time in an efficient and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive and high-quality administrative support service undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks, including personal responsibility for a number of delegated tasks.
  • Support a range of complex and sensitive administrative functions to ensure the effective and timely access to information for the storage and sharing of information.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, service users, and health professionals.
  • Maintain databases and provide reports on the data required.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with partner agencies.
