Role Description
The Administrator vacancy is a temporary, fixed term contract covering Maternity Leave. The role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fornham All Saints. The Administrator will be working in a small team who handle day-to-day office operations, including telephone reception, responding to emails, maintaining and managing incoming data from consultants out in the field, preparing and formatting documents and reports, and supporting project workflows by updating internal systems and databases. The role also involves liaising with Clients, Local Authorities and Consultants in a professional manner, and providing general administrative support to ensure efficient delivery of arboricultural services.

Qualifications

- Strong administrative and organizational skills and proficiency with standard office software, Office 365 (including Access database), as well as the ability to learn industry-specific tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional telephone manner and the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry is paramount, as is report preparation, record keeping, and a focus on quality and consistency.
- Great time management and ability to complete tasks within required deadlines.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
- Previous experience in an administrative role; experience in professional services, consulting, or within the Arboriculture sector.
- Basic understanding of, or interest in, arboriculture, planning, or environmental consultancy is beneficial.
- Relevant education such as a vocational qualification in business administration or a related field is preferred.
