Join Our Team
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our team at Randalstown Feed Mill on a temporary full-time 12 month FTC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a varied role that combines office administration, operational support, and quality compliance activities.
As a key member of the Mill Despatch team, you will provide essential administrative support across the site, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide clerical and administrative support across the site, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Carry out general office duties including:
- Word processing
- Spreadsheet management
- Report and graph preparation
- Filing and document control
- Photocopying
- Updating notice boards and information screens
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Managing office supplies, stationery, and printer stock
- Operate the main weighbridge and support raw material intake and planning activities as required.
- Assist the Quality Control team with:
- Organising samples
- In-house analysis activities
- Swabbing and testing procedures
- Barcoding processes
- Support the maintenance of documentation relating to company and regulatory compliance.
- Use internal systems including DSL and Mtech to complete relevant duties.
- Assist with audit preparation and completion.
- Support Operational Excellence initiatives and participate in 5S activities.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support business needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different areas of the operation when required.

About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous administration experience.
- Strong numerical and computer literacy skills.
- Experience using ERP systems and/or databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good standard of written and spoken English.
- Educated to secondary school level or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret and analyse data.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Desirable Experience
- Experience within the agriculture, animal feed, or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience using Mtech and DSL systems.
- Experience working in a quality, technical, or compliance-focused environment.
Working Environment
This role combines both office-based and operational activities. The successful candidate will work in both indoor and outdoor environments and will spend time within the office and mill operations areas.
