Are you an organised and motivated individual looking for an exciting administrative role within the Adult Social Care Service at West Berkshire Council? We are seeking an Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the newly created Re-ablement Team, who are commissioned from People Too to deliver the new Innovate to Save project.
About The Role
As an Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Re-ablement Team. Your duties will include:
- Processing requests for service
- Data input and management
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Producing reports and correspondence
- Handling enquiries and providing information to service users and stakeholders
- Supporting the Team Manager with administrative tasks
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

You will also be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 28 days per annum (plus public holidays) Rising by an additional 5 days after 5 years’ service.
